Bridge Steel Mesh

Bridge steel mesh, also known as welded steel mesh, welded steel mesh, welded steel mesh, welded steel mesh, etc., is a mesh of longitudinal and transverse steel bars arranged at a certain distance and at right angles to each other, with all intersections welded together.

Application of welded mesh in bridge engineering:

Mainly used for bridge deck paving of municipal and highway bridges, renovation of old bridge decks, and crack prevention of bridge piers.

Through thousands of bridge engineering quality inspections, it has been shown that the use of welded mesh significantly improves the quality of the bridge deck pavement layer, with a protection layer qualification rate of over 97%, thereby improving the flatness of the bridge deck and making it almost crack free, greatly improving the paving speed and reducing engineering costs.

The welded mesh of steel bars in the bridge deck installation layer should be welded mesh or prefabricated cold-rolled ribbed steel bar welded mesh, and it is not advisable to use bound steel bar welded mesh. The spacing between steel welded mesh for general bridges can be 100-200mm, and its diameter should be 6-12mm. The longitudinal and transverse spacing of the welded steel mesh for bridges should be equal, and the thickness of the protective layer from the top surface of the welded mesh should not be less than 20mm.
